At Oxford Golf Cars, we are committed to providing dependable golf carts and exceptional customer service. This Limited Warranty explains the warranty coverage available on eligible products, outlines customer responsibilities, and describes the process for requesting warranty service.
Limited Warranty Coverage
Oxford Golf Cars provides a Limited Warranty to the original purchaser of eligible new golf carts purchased directly from our dealership.
Subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms, eligible golf carts are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance.
Warranty Period
Warranty coverage generally ranges from 3 months to 1 year, depending on the manufacturer, model, and components included with the vehicle.
Specific warranty terms, coverage periods, limitations, and exclusions are provided in the manufacturer’s warranty documentation supplied at the time of purchase. If you have questions regarding your warranty coverage, our team will be happy to assist you.
Warranty Eligibility
To qualify for warranty service, you must:
- Be the original purchaser of the product.
- Have purchased the golf cart directly from Oxford Golf Cars.
- Provide valid proof of purchase.
- Operate and maintain the golf cart in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Avoid unauthorized modifications or alterations that may affect warranty coverage.
Warranty Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failures resulting from circumstances including, but not limited to:
Normal Wear and Maintenance
The following items are considered normal wear or routine maintenance and are generally not covered:
- Tires
- Brake components
- Belts
- Batteries (unless separately covered by the manufacturer)
- Light bulbs
- Filters
- Routine maintenance items
- Normal cosmetic wear
Improper Use
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage resulting from:
- Accidents or collisions
- Misuse or abuse
- Negligence
- Improper storage
- Overloading the vehicle
- Operation contrary to the manufacturer’s recommendations
Unauthorized Modifications
Warranty coverage may be void if the golf cart has been modified through:
- Performance modifications
- Electrical alterations
- Suspension modifications
- Installation of unauthorized aftermarket components
- Removal or alteration of factory-installed safety systems
Cosmetic Conditions
This Limited Warranty does not cover cosmetic conditions that do not affect vehicle operation, including:
- Paint fading
- Minor scratches
- Surface corrosion
- Cosmetic blemishes
Environmental Damage
Warranty coverage does not include damage caused by:
- Flooding
- Water intrusion
- Fire
- Severe weather
- Corrosion resulting from improper storage
- Natural disasters
Commercial or rental use may not be covered unless specifically authorized by the applicable manufacturer.
Warranty Remedies
If a covered defect is confirmed during the applicable warranty period, Oxford Golf Cars will assist in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty procedures.

- Coordination with the manufacturer for warranty approval

Customer Responsibilities
Unless otherwise provided by the manufacturer, customers may be responsible for:
- Transporting the golf cart to an authorized service location.
- Shipping costs associated with warranty claims.
- Labor charges not covered by the manufacturer.
- Routine maintenance and normal service items.
Warranty remedies are limited to those provided by the applicable manufacturer and permitted under applicable law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Oxford Golf Cars shall not be responsible for:
- Loss of use of the vehicle
- Loss of income or business interruption
- Rental expenses
- Storage fees
- Incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from product use or warranty claims
Where permitted by law, our maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the applicable product.
Nothing in this Limited Warranty limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Maintaining Warranty Coverage
To help preserve your warranty eligibility, we recommend that you:
- Follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule.
- Use approved replacement parts whenever possible.
- Keep maintenance and service records.
- Store your golf cart appropriately when it is not in use.
- Have warranty-related repairs performed by Oxford Golf Cars or an authorized service provider whenever required.
Warranty coverage may be denied if damage results from neglect, improper maintenance, unauthorized repairs, or unauthorized modifications.
