Specifications
Tara’s Explorer 2+2 is a 4-seat electric cart meant for neighborhoods, resorts and light off-road trails. Its 6.3 kW motor has an electromagnetic (EM) brake and works with a 400A controller and a 48V lithium battery system. A 25A on-board charger is built in, two riders sit on the rear flip seat, and the cart is rated for a 25% grade with a full load.
This new cart has an Electric Blue body and Black interior. Double wishbone independent front suspension and a leaf spring rear smooth out rough ground, and 14″ aluminum wheels carry 22×10-14 silent off-road tires. The body comes off easily for maintenance. Dimensions are 120.5″ L x 55.5″ W (with mirrors) x 83″ H, with a 64.8″ wheelbase and 39.3″/39.7″ front/rear track. It stops in 13.1 ft or less, turns in a radius of 16.4 ft or less, weighs 1,014 lbs and has a maximum total mass of 1,676 lbs.
